Ensemble Intercontemporain, 13th March 2020, Philharmonie de Paris
The main idea of this piece is the issue of inner child which could be linked to the personality of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This idea was the base for the following musical conception: There is only one musical element, the glissando, which either rises or falls and which builds the whole musical structure. It consists of short phrases which represent manifestations of inner unrest, and its echoes. The intensity of the phrases in the first part of the piece increases and culminates, meanwhile in the second part it slowly decreases. The short echoes of the phrases appear gradually throughout the piece and turn into the motif of small third which should remind on lullaby.
